Catriona Knapp
Catriona has had over 20 years' business advisory and chartered accountancy experience both in large chartered accounting practices and more recently in setting up and running her own practice.
She has worked with organisations ranging from those in their start-up phase, through to larger multi-national and corporate companies. Catriona is passionate about helping businesses become more profitable and grow to their full potential. In particular she enjoys working with small businesses and strives to provide a cost effective solution with enough support to help business owners achieve their goals.
Catriona has spend time working as a Chartered Accountant in Geneva, Switzerland where she was involved in the sale of a European group of companies to a publicly listed entity in the UK and also involved with auditing, preparing financial statements and providing systems training to small businesses in Geneva.
She has been a specialist financial presenter for the New Zealand Government's Enterprise Training Programme, delivered webinars on a range of finance topics for CCH, facilitated workshops for the Chartered Accountants Australian and NZ institute (CAANZ) for over 15 years and has been a contract lecturer for various finance programmes at the University of Auckland Business School.
Catriona also acts as Treasurer for the Designers Institute of New Zealand and has extensive experience in the creative, property/construction, property investment and argiculture sectors
